funniest episodes of ones internet surfing... Listening & reading non sense, saying things U don wanna say, watching how the XY advertise for finding the XX...
This post reminds me of Iranonline chat room during late 90's.
I also agree with Doc...
Cheers :)
Hi Dr, yeah i guess you're right. But I do find the virtual enviornment very interesting. You may get to see how people can behave under conditions of anonymity, when social desirability is less relevant. Also, I like the fact that people in a chat room communicate with each other entirely on a stereotypical basis, because they only have stereotypical inofmration (age, sex, location) about the others.
Dear Farzad, I'v never been to an Iranonline chatroom, but I can tell you that still the same shit is going on in Yahoo. Cheers :)
Thats surrogat anonimity, the second you say obscene things for more then a few times they notice, and with they I mean the provider. When you do this often you'l get a warning and know there is no such thing as anonimity on the net..
Sadly enough I've experienced this in the flesh
Dear Thomas, No, no, no..... You are not supposed to use obscene words in the first place, my son. That's not the way a gentleman behaves, even in a chatroom...Do you understand me, or should I fucking spell the damn thing for ya??
:)
I know I know,No you dont have to spell it out :p. I've learned my lesson, but hey we've all been young once the only difference is that I grew up with the internet :)
