Hi Dr, yeah i guess you're right. But I do find the virtual enviornment very interesting. You may get to see how people can behave under conditions of anonymity, when social desirability is less relevant. Also, I like the fact that people in a chat room communicate with each other entirely on a stereotypical basis, because they only have stereotypical inofmration (age, sex, location) about the others.

Dear Farzad, I'v never been to an Iranonline chatroom, but I can tell you that still the same shit is going on in Yahoo. Cheers :)

Thats surrogat anonimity, the second you say obscene things for more then a few times they notice, and with they I mean the provider. When you do this often you'l get a warning and know there is no such thing as anonimity on the net..
Sadly enough I've experienced this in the flesh
