Are we blind?

A distinguished man once said that great crimes against humanity are not committed by the aggressor, but by those who stand by to observe, and fail to intervene.

Watch a short video.

It's true. While the aggressor doesn't attack other, they don’t notice.
Thomas. If people have the will and act, they will have the power. Perhaps one's action is futile, but a few people can stop the aggressor. We only lack the will.

Hey Thomas, I think Padideh has a good point there. I, too, believe that it's all about the will. You don't have to grab a gun to show your opposition, you can show your solidarity with the victims and the hate you feel for the aggressors by taking part in demonstrations, or writing... in a blog like Narratives of Suffering!! haha

Hello Narges, your sensitivity surprises me. But you gotta watch the video, because it's not weird, and is complementary to my writing. I didn't get the part on 'negah kardan'.

Thanks Padideh. Hasta la victoria siempre!

I believe there are some great crimes committed by stupid, hollow and uneducated observers who don't know how but insisting on intervening.

Very nice point.

Hi Hydra. I totally agree with you on this. Unfortunately people are often too afraid, to do something about the injustice that they see. Afraid that they will be attacked too, or just afraid to take a stand (and there by get judged). It's a pitty, because if they did, we most probably would have a better world.
Btw I like your blog alot, hope to hear from you again :-)
